Chronic Pain Management
Hypnosis is a widely practiced and time-tested method for managing pain. “Hypno-anesthesia” is a natural product of the hypnotic state, and can be focused for use in pain alleviation. The subconscious is taught that the chronic pain, which is serving no purposecan be ignored. Studies have shown that many patients with pain can benefit from hypnosis in such a way, from reduction of pain to complete relief.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome & G.E.R.D.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome, or IBS, has proven to respond very well to hypnosis.  It has been so successful in alleviating irritable bowel problems that Adriane Fugh-Berman, MD, chair of the National Women's Health Network in Washington, DC, has said that hypnosis should be the treatment of choice for Irritable Bowel Syndrome cases which have not responded to conventional therapy. Studies are showing a response rate of IBS to hypnotism of 80% or more.

Allergies
An allergy is a misguided reaction by our immune system in response to bodily contact with certain foreign substances.  It is misguided because those foreign substances are usually harmless, and remain so to non-allergic people.  Examples of allergies that respond well to hypnosis include pollens, dust mites, molds or foods.  Allergies can often be completely released with hypnosis.


Insomnia
Chronic, untreated insomnia creates blood sugar pattern irregularities and leads to numerous complications, such as weight gain and anxiety.  Over 60 million people in the United States suffer from insomnia at some time in their life. Hypnosis is very effective in curing chronic insomnia.
